Banbury Tennis Leagues is switching away from Playwaze. Floodlit and Winter fixtures, tables, squads and results are now on this website. We no longer use Playwaze for those two leagues.

Other leagues that are not currently in play will be switched to the new system in due time. Until then they may still use their previous systems. Older seasons remain on the History page.

Getting a login

Captains and Match Secretaries are set up by the League Secretary. You should receive an email with a one time link to set your password. Check junk or spam if it is not in your inbox.

The link can only be used once. If you cannot find the email or the link has expired, contact the League Secretary via the Contact page with your name and email address and ask for a new invite.

How to log in and log out

Use Login in the main purple menu on this site. After you are signed in, that menu item becomes Logout.

League pages (tables, fixtures, scorecards, squads) open in a new window. That window has its own purple bar at the top with Login or Logout, so you can sign in or out without closing the window.

Remember Me keeps you signed in when you come back later. It does not keep the login form filled in after you click Logout.

If you forget your password after you have set it, use the forgotten password link on the Login page, or contact the League Secretary via the Contact page.

Looking at tables, fixtures and results

On the home page, under Floodlit League or Winter League, choose Fixtures/Results & Tables.

You will see tabs such as Table, Fixtures, Results, Statistics and Rules. Use the Division and Season lists above the table to pick the division and season you want.

Anyone can view these pages without logging in. Submitted results that are not yet approved may show in red. Only approved results count in the league table.

Squads

On the Table or Fixtures view, click a team name to open that team’s squad.

Captains can add, edit and remove players for their own team. Names are sorted alphabetically by first name.

Match Secretaries can manage squads for all teams at their club, and can appoint captains for those teams.

Captain email and phone are only shown when you are logged in.

Entering results (scorecards)

As per the league rules, the home club enters the result.

Captains can enter the scorecard when their team is the home team.

Match Secretaries can enter scorecards for any home fixture for a team at their club (not for the opposition club).

How to enter a result:

1. Log in.
2. Open Floodlit or Winter Fixtures/Results & Tables (or Enter Scorecard).
3. Go to the Results (or Fixtures) tab and open the fixture.
4. Choose players from the squad lists (type to filter; names are in alphabetical order by first name).
5. Enter the scores. Use walkover or concede options if that applies.
6. Save your work if you need to come back later, then Submit when the card is complete.

After submit, a league officer approves the result before it is fully counted in the table.

Match changes

To report a postponement or rearranged date, use the Match Changes page and email the League Secretary with the details asked for there.

Rules and Match Secretaries lists

Each league column on the home page has Rules and Match Secretaries links. Rules are the published competition rules. Match Secretaries lists are the contact lists for that league.
